Escaping reality

“C’mon, lighten up buddy.” Erik glares, taking a sip of his beer. “Why are we here?” Micheal grins, swinging an arm around Erik’s shoulders. “To have some fun mate.” Erik shakes off Micheal’s arm. “We should be looking for mutants not doing this.” Micheal rolls his eyes. “Just finish your drink yeah.” Erik turns and glares at the dance floor, anything to avoid looking and talking to Micheal. He does finish his drink. And three more. Sometime during the eighth he is dancing with Micheal. It’s nice. Micheal is warm, and doesn’t seem to care that Erik steps on his feet too many times to count. Erik likes that. “You’re a good dancer” Micheal laughs, it’s a nice laugh, warm. “Thanks, mate.” Erik grins. “I’m going to regret this in the morning aren’t I?” Micheal looks puzzled “Regret wha—?” Erik kisses him. (aaaaaa /o\ I’ve never ever done rpf (it makes me uncomfortable) though McFassy is as far as I go but I didn’t want to say no so I gave it a shot. I hope I did okay D:)

“Erik. What are you doing?” Erik twists around so fast Charles is surprised that he doesn’t hurt something. “Nothing.” Charles doesn’t believe him, something was going on and tonight wasn’t the first night of it happening either. “Erik.” “Charles.” They stare each other down. Each too stubborn to back down. “Oh.” Erik narrows his eyes. “Keep out of my head.” Charles flinches with guilt. “I do try my friend, it is just you were thinking so loudly that I could not help it.” Erik grunts, shuffling away from the fridge, hands behind his back. Wanting to get away as soon as possible. Charles stops him by placing a hand on his arm. “There is nothing wrong with liking sweets Erik. You don’t need to hide that, not with me.” Erik does not move, until slowly he reveals the (metal) plate of cake. He smiles. “Would you like a slice?” Charles smiles back. “I would like that very much, Erik.”
